Senior Process Associate ||DME Billing|| AR||

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with payors guidelines
• Check and correct HCPCS codes
• Submit and follow up on claims
• Post account charges and payments 
• Process claims denials and insurance appeals 
• AR follow up
• Handle patient collection calls 
• Use various billing software systems 
• Perform medical billing functions via Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Resolve unpaid claims and denials
• Monitor accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in DME US Medical Billing, with a focus on AR and Intake.
• Knowledge of DME billing codes, payer rules, and insurance guidelines.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and the ability to manage and resolve claims.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in billing software and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
