Senior Manager Procurement ( SC & AG )

Develop, manage, and sustain an efficient regional supply chain for Actylis s global products portfolio sourced from the region, and contribute to revenue, EBIT growth, working capital improvement and PPV savings.
Actively set up and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for identified suppliers in line with Supplier Relationship Management programme
Ensure support in the resolution of API supplier related quality or service issues including mitigation plans/support for High Risk suppliers
Engage in cost saving projects with a dollar target to the business
Maintain all contracts and evaluate all supplier performance according to contract and ensure efficient flow of all conditions in contract
Design and implement an effective sourcing strategy to reduce total cost of acquisition, reduce supply risks and manage overall sourcing processes
Coordinate with suppliers to recommend ways to reduce costs of the products associated logistics including overall supply chain costs
Continually engage with sales/marketing teams and global category managers to establish demand-supply visibility and new product/supplier development plan for a competitive supply chain position
Understand country wide category specific supply base and propose to global sales/business teams, global category managers on potential in-sourcing opportunities
Establish and maintain best-in-class supplier qualification and performance management program to enhance Actylis s competitive edge in the marketplace
Continually evaluate India/APAC supply market to identify and develop new sources of competitiveness - both in products and alternate suppliers
Supervise Buyers, Assistant managers and responsible for mentoring them to Actylis s global sourcing performance expectations
Develop processes to ensure compliance related to key supply chain requirements such as quality control, cold chain storage and distribution
Demonstrate significant expertise in contract negotiations and cost management
Well versed in analysis of spend data and cost models for continuous improvement
Maintain relationships with various business functions across the organization
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and track inventory levels
Lead supplier selection and pre-qualification process globally
Conduct Quality Control and pharmacovigilance activities, when deemed necessary or as an element of routine supplier management

Required Experience Knowledge

Education

BTech/MTech in Chemical Engineering or Post-Graduate degree in Chemistry from reputed institution
MBA in Supply Chain or Marketing preferred

Experience

15+ years in global sourcing procurement role, with experience leading sourcing and logistics operations across Indian global markets
Specialty Chemicals, fine chemicals, coating chemicals - supply chain experience into such products
Good understanding with REACH, ISO, UN packaging and regulatory framework for exports
Strategic Sourcing knowledge and implementation experience
Understanding of global best practices in the industry of supply chain
