Job Description

You will:

Lead the development and delivery of software applications, ensuring alignment with both functional and technical requirements.
Oversee the technical design process, guiding teams through the analysis of technical application requirements and system specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project needs, create technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment of technology with business objectives.
Provide leadership in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Ensure the proper execution and documentation of testing processes, providing support and guidance to developers for troubleshooting and debugging.
Drive continuous improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.
Mentor and coach software engineers, fostering skill development and promoting best practices in coding and system design.
Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
You have:
- Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing projects from conception to delivery.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Deep knowledge of relational database design, querying, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in managing branching, merging, and release processes.
- Expertise in client\/server application development and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Solid experience with unit testing, test automation, and continuous integration\/continuous deployment (CI\/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
