Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Accounts & Finance will play a pivotal role in the Financial Management of the organization, with a primary responsibility on Accounts Receivable monitoring and management of 500-1000 Customers and additional responsibility in financial reporting (Statutory audit, internal audit, MIS), financial planning, income tax ITR filing & assessment, GST return filing and audit / assessment and cash flow management / projections. This position requires a person with expertise in financial management, preferably from Manufacturing Textile organization

1) Accounts Receivable:

• Manage Accounts receivable (Debtors) of the entire distribution entity (More than 1,000 customers) with special focus on top 300 customers
• Monitor work of the Executives of Accounts Receivable

- Collections

- Reconciliations and confirmations

- Resolving Customer queries

1) Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses.
• Liaison with statutory auditor and ensure timely completion
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping in SAP
• Prepare & review MIS and submit to management on timely basis
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in financial reporting practices.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets in SAP. Submit variance analysis to management

1) Taxation:

• Prepare / Review income tax return, complete assessments, audit.
• GST return and audit / assessment
• Apply for GST refunds and pursue collections
• TDS compliance and timely payments

1) Financial Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide strategic recommendations for effective financial management

1) Cash Flow Management / Projections:

• Develop and maintain accurate cash flow projections to support working capital management.
• Analyze cash flow patterns, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize cash resources efficiently.

Candidate profile

Experience: 5 10 years experience with CA (Chartered Accountant) degree is a must.
