Job Description
- Design world class safety critical process automation systems complying to IEC61508
- Preferably a Safety Certified F/W engineer
- Interact with cross functional engineering teams across the company
- Dive into and take ownership for critical design issues
- Participate in design reviews
- Address all aspects of technology readiness, including manufacturability
- Help build robust methodology and processes to deliver technology to products
- 12-15 years of Experience in standard tools for embedded system development (ICE, emulators, debuggers, simulators, Logic analyzer)
- Deeply embedded, device development with C/++, ARM, Microcontrollers, Wireless communication, BLE, algorithms, Linux and RTOS
- Create new products to compliment our platform
- Design and develop innovative & highly optimized controllers integrating advanced communication and navigation technologies
- Study and benchmark emerging technologies and solutions to define technology roadmaps
- Drive multiple cross department multiregional designs from concept through realization (hands on in every aspect of the process)
- Engage with strategic customers to define highly optimized solutions with special attention to under experience
Modbus, Embedded c++/c, IAR, RTOS,
Communication: TCP/IP, MODBUS, SPI, I2c, Rs485
ARM controller architectures
Algorithm development and optimization
Software design life cycle
System diagnostic software test
Version management tools like Clear case/CMSynergy is desirable
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) constructs and real time processing that includes processes, threads, scheduling, synchronization mechanisms, and memory management
Work closely with Global Design/Research team and interact with them on a regular basis
B.E./B.Tech in ECE / EEE

Based on the kind of work, work from home was allowed. Can service. Canteen food
There is more meetings than actual work. People try to glorify even small things. Most of them just want to act as managers than doing actual handsown. The younger folks are good, but I think they are wasting better opportunities for the tag. Also there is a constant tussle between India and Canada team, which is the root cause of most of the issues.
