Senior Firmware Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Embedded Firmware development using C, C++ for 8/16/32/ARM microcontroller based standalone, Embedded Linux/RTOS based platforms for cutting edge embedded electronic development projects
• Development of device drivers, BSPs, APIs
• Software testing / Integrated system testing
• Troubleshooting system, performance and functional issues with firmware
• Optimizing firmware to achieve performance standards
• Performing design and code reviews
• Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure compatibility and integration with hardware modules
• Generation of design documents
• Onsite system integration

Skillset requirement

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electronics, Electronics & Telecom or equivalent
• Relevant experience: 5 to 10 years
• Proficiency in one or more firmware development environments.
• Experience in using test equipment for troubleshooting
• Excellent diagnostic, debugging and problem- solving abilities
• Effective analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
