1. JOB PURPOSE

1. Provide high quality maintenance of civil infrastructure with special focus on economical and effective maintenance.
2. Support Maintenance Manager in achieving desired serviceability levels of all civil systems on a 24x7 basis.
3. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations while carrying out the above functions.
4. Documentation such as estimation, measurements, progress tracking, billing etc.
5. Effective supervision of works being executed through outsourced agencies.
6. Inventory management through Landside Civil Database & SAP & IBM Maximo
7. Preparation of the weekly maintenance reports & posting in share folder
8. Preparing & posting the incident reports to ensure 100% compliances to all statutory requirements.
9. Conducting the In-house training program with or without vendor participation
10. Enhancing water efficiency by optimizing the usage of the water at PTB (T1 & T2) Rest Rooms & Landside Building Rest Rooms and checking flush timings and flow timing of the rest room fixtures
11. Take up safety and quality finishes training to the SLA and AMC manpower and ensure the quality of work and safety standards are met.

1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

AccountabilitiesMajor ActivitiesSupervising a pool of skilled and semi-skilled workers insourced and outsourced, carrying out maintenance tasks. Preparation of proposals, costing, supervision billing etc. for capital expenditure and other improvement works. Supporting quality assurance initiatives. Coordination required for T1A project.
Inventory management, preparation of compliance reports, conducting in-house trainings.

1. Make periodic inspection of assigned facilities to determine condition.
2. Diagnose the problems and initiates necessary action.
3. Plans and schedule routine maintenance, establishes work priorities.
4. Perform complex repair and maintenance tasks.
5. Supervise a staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers in such maintenance duties as painting, carpentry, masonry, cement work, water proofing works, and general upkeep involving structures, furnishings, equipment, floorings, grid ceiling, plumbing and related systems.
6. Train, instruct and assigns subordinates, and inspect completed work.
7. Maintains checklists, documents, and records of maintenance activity, and prepares simple daily report.
8. Ensure the safety measures and regulations as per Airport standards.
9. Coordinate building and maintenance activities within the division and with other divisions and departments.
10. Checking Bills and verifying Quantity of the awarded works.
11. Supporting quality assurance team by attending to all observations, giving regular feedbacks etc.
12. Documentation/coordination required for T1 & T2 & MMTH project.

• Delivery of department CAPEX and OPEX works within time and required quality.
• Handling of the Vendors who supplying materials, Annual maintenance contracts

Non-Financial (Eg: No. of direct/ indirect reports, headcount in projects, no. of clients handled etc.,)

• Daily handling Team of around 80 workers like Carpenters, Plumbers, Sewer men, Mesons, and helper who involved in corrective & preventive maintenance.
• Handling of maintenance works at CISF& at concessionaries

1. JOB SPECIFICATION

5.1. Education qualification and certifications (Indicate the level of education and certifications required)

• Diploma / BE /B. Tech / M. Tech in Civil Engineering

5.2. Years of Experience (Years of relevant experience required)

• 10 years of total experience (Diploma) / 8 years of total experience (BE/B. Tech) / 6 years of total experience (M. Tech) with a deep understanding of Construction activities out of which 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer of a medium sized company and experience in Civil construction and maintenance

5.3. Computer skills (Indicate the required knowledge on software, applications, hardware etc., that are required)

• Proficiency in - MS office, AutoCAD, SAP

5.4. Knowledge and work skills [Indicate what knowledge (machines, equipment, processes, systems etc.,) and work skills are required]

• Knowledge on the maintenance tools & equipment’s
• Knowledge on the power tools & equipment’s
• Knowledge on the special machinery like painting machines etc.
