Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hardware Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing innovative hardware solutions based on customer requirements, while ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability, and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in analog and digital electronics who are eager to work on cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and translate customer hardware requirements into effective design solutions.
Select the most cost-effective hardware topology based on requirements, ensuring optimal performance.
Design and integrate analog circuits, including DC/DC converters and Op-Amps.
Create hardware simulations in LT Spice, performing DC and transient analysis.
Develop hardware schematics and Bills of Materials (BOM) using Cadence tools.
Conduct worst-case analysis to ensure robust and reliable hardware designs.
Review PCB layouts to ensure proper thermal management and compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
Collaborate with the functional safety team on FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis) activities.
Perform and document hardware functional testing to validate compliance with customer requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from EMI/EMC, thermal, and electrical testing.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills & Experience:
3-5 years of experience in hardware design, with a strong focus on analog and digital electronics.
Hands-on experience with DC/DC converters, Op-Amps, and other analog circuits.
Proficient in hardware simulation tools like LT Spice and design tools such as Cadence.
Solid understanding of EMI/EMC and its impact on hardware design.
Experience in worst-case analysis and ensuring hardware reliability under various conditions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering.

Experience in automotive, industrial, or other high-reliability sectors is a plus.
Familiarity with functional safety standards and testing protocols.
