Responsible for accurately coding surgical and same-day surgery (SDS) procedures using the appropriate coding classifications systems.

1. Reviews and analyzes medical records to ensure precise application of codes for appropriate billing and efficient reimbursement processes.
2. Stays updated with coding guidelines and regulations, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS, to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
3. Collaborates with healthcare providers to clarify documentation ambiguities and provides guidance on proper documentation practices to support accurate coding.
