Sr Analyst IT Security

Role & responsibilities

Sr Analyst IT Security will be responsible for the following:

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Very good understanding of file integrity monitoring, NETAPP and file share monitoring methodologies and processes
• Ability to navigate and work/communicate effectively across a complex organization
• Experience in administration of Windows and Linux including configuration, upgrading and patching of infrastructure components
• Strong understanding of documentation procedures for systems and change control process
• Understand and follow the incident response access through event escalations

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors degree or equivalent years (4-8+) as an FIM Security Analyst
• 3-5 years of related work experience in information security, data protection, data privacy and security, or similar field
• 3-5 years administering configuring, testing, and deploying vendor provided security software on Linux and Intel OSx servers
• Experience with Varonis (version 7.5+) or similar file integrity tools
• Administrative experience in multiple versions of operating systems such as Windows, Linux
• Ability to generate report statistics on FIM system performance
• Knowledge of file integrity monitoring industry best practices, procedures or strategies
• Familiarity with common incident management/ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now)
• Knowledge, skill, ability to script in BASH, Powershell, Python or other similar use language
