Senior Analyst (Financial Modeling)

Role: Senior Analyst

Purpose: To perform comprehensive financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis to support investment decisions, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Deliver actionable insights by evaluating financial data, identifying risks, and assessing opportunities, while collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution of engagements.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage both buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, delivering comprehensive financial and business due diligence services to middle-market companies and private equity investors.

Develop a deep understanding of the target company, including its business model, competitive positioning, core strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential challenges.

Perform in-depth analysis of historical and current financial data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact the transaction or valuation.

Assess key business drivers and provide actionable insights to clients through high-quality deliverables and advisory support, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.

Oversee and conduct rigorous financial due diligence, including analyzing proof of cash, scrutinizing revenue streams and expense structures, and evaluating the sustainability of historical earnings and the integrity of net assets.

Identify potential deal issues and risks, evaluate their implications for valuation, and provide strategic advice on mitigating or addressing these challenges.

Prepare and manage comprehensive deliverables such as due diligence reports, detailed presentations, and data books, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and client-specific customization.

Facilitate discussions with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and solutions to drive informed decision-making and successful deal execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to transaction advisory services, integrating insights from tax, legal, and operational perspectives.

Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to provide contextually relevant advice and maintain a competitive edge in transaction advisory services.

Experience & Skills

MBA in finance, CFA, CA

3-5 years of practical experience in Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), with a focus on financial due diligence, QoE analysis, and transaction-related financial reporting adjustments.

Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

Creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
