Job Summary :

The Sr. Applications Engineer is responsible for increasing design wins in the Consumer segment by supporting customer integration of our devices from start to finish in their projects. This includes reviewing schematic/layout designs from customers as well as supporting the software needed to enable our device in their application. A basic understanding of RF component design should be known as well since many of our products are used to enable customers in meeting SAR regulations while still providing high performance to their customers. Support for customers may involve designing/validating Proof of Concept hardware/software.

Responsibilities :

- Customer Support and Engagement : Provide technical support (Hardware and Software) to customers, addressing questions or issues to enhance customer satisfaction and increase design. (25%)

- Validation and Testing : Validating solutions on the bench to ensure customer specifications are met. Ability to use lab equipment such as but not limited to oscilloscopes and waveform generators. (40%)

- Design and Development : Create and develop Proof of Concept solutions for customers. (10%)

- Documentation : Create additional guidelines for customers as needed. (5%)

- Collaboration : Work closely with other application engineers, marketing, design as well as product/test to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed to provide high performance products. (15%)

- Innovation : Stay updated with the latest advancements in consumer. (5%)

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelors Electrical Engineering specializing in Software or related field with 5+ years experience or equivalent education and experience

- Experience in the Semiconductor industry

- Experience with lab instruments for RF

- Experience with two or more of the following programming languages : C, C++, C# / .NET, Rust, Python

- Experience with two or more of the following communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, I3C, and MIPI RFFE

Desired Qualifications :

- Experience in PCB layout/schematic design using Altium

- Experience with Sensor Fusion

- Experience writing drivers in Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android, FreeRTOS, and bare metal C code
