Power BI Developer - Synapse Analytics (15-17 yrs)

Title : Power BI Developer

Duration : 12 months

Location : 100% Remote

Must have : Must have background in CPG, supply chain or finance experience.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

- Leverage DAX and Power Query to create efficient and accurate data transformations and calculations.

- Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and reporting issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data marts and data warehouses.

- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency.

Qualifications :

- 15+ years of experience in BI development and architecture.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.

- 5+ years of experience with SSRS, SSAS, and Azure Analysis Services.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with data cleansing and processing in Python or other languages.

- Deep understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.

- Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Experience with Snowflake cloud data lake is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies
