SELCO Foundation is an open-source, not-for-profit organization that engages in field-based R&D and ecosystem building for the deployment of clean energy solutions that alleviate poverty in tribal, rural and urban poor areas. The organization collaborates with practitioners in the social sector, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs from various developmental sectors and educational institutions to link the benefits of sustainable energy to poverty eradication. The organization works across verticals such as energy access, health, water purification, livelihoods, and enterprise development with practitioners in the social sector, energy entrepreneurs and partners from various developmental sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate developing and managing knowledge and communications materials, such as articles, learning documents. Producing learning briefs, reports, and other written and digital communications.
• Research entailing both secondary and primary data from a diverse range of stakeholders. Assisting the team in the preparation of feasibility and impact studies.
• Analyse data and compile reports based on project requirements. Support the team in data interpretation to convey key insights and strategies towards future actions with practical solutions.
• Supporting the team in community engagement and training sessions, assisting in logistical arrangements for workshops and events.

Requirements

• Between 0-1 years of working experience in social development sector.
• Good analytical skills to interpret data to derive insights and reports
• Strong computer knowledge who is proficient in using various software tools, capable of handling data analysis, documentation, and reporting tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in oral and written English. Proficiency in other languages such as Manipuri, Hindi will be an added advantage
• Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel to remote areas
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
