EHS Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Monitoring the work permits and ensuring proper execution.

2. Identification of Unsafe Acts, conditions in the plant on regular basis and follow-up for the compliance of the same.

3. Check the fire and safety appliances as per checklists and carry the servicing of fire and safety

appliances as per requirements.

4. Giving the Safety trainings for Employees and contract workmen as per schedule.

5. Conduct & coordinating for incident/accident investigations and develop corrective & preventative action plans.

6. Reviewing the SOPs and updating the same as per requirements.

7. Hazardous waste collection, segregation, storage and maintain the records.

8. Co-Ordinate with PETL and send the tankers.

9. Conducting Safety Committee meetings.

10. Conducting Mock Drills & Fire drills as per norms.

11. Up keeping of all Third-Party Inspection Certificate as per Factories Act 1948.

12. Safety department SOP preparation / reviewing & maintain online documentation.

13. Hazardous waste receiving, storage and dispose.

14. Complying and submitting the statutory documents for PCB & factories of Depts. In time.

15. Environment, Health & Safety Management - Implementation of EHS standards based on Regulatory requirements, ISO 14001:2015 & 9001:2015 & ISO 45001.

16. To conduct the EHS induction of new employee & workmen.

17. Ensure the water & Air emission Aspects - Monitoring of water & air emissions on regular basis & ensure compliance.

18. Waste Management - Waste segregation as Non-hazardous, Hazardous, Electronic Waste & Hazardous waste; ensure the proper disposal of waste according to the norms.

19. EHS Inspections & preparing audit reports & action plans for compliance & ensure the compliance in time.
