Job Description: Assistant Manager - Human Resources

Role Overview:
- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager - Human Resources to join our team in Mumbai.
- This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a key role in managing HR operations and contributing to the overall HR strategy.
- You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and developing HR policies that align with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, handling grievances, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring timely appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Administer day-to-day HR operations, including payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and employee record management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that are aligned with company objectives and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on HR best practices.
- Actively participate in the development of company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and address talent needs, training, and development programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in Recruitment, Onboarding, and Employee Relations.
- Strong background in Performance Management and HR Administration.
- Ability to draft and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in the outsourcing/BPO industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, MBA or a related field.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools is an advantage.
