IT Network Security Engineer - Bengaluru - Work from office

Key Responsibilities:

System and Network Security

• Design, implement, and maintain robust security systems and solutions to protect networks, endpoints, and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Monitor and respond to security incidents using tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).
• Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other network security measures.

Threat Management

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential security risks and threats.
• Investigate and resolve security breaches, reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.

Compliance and Policy Enforcement

• Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with security objectives.

Tools and Automation

• Deploy and maintain security tools, including anti-virus, EDR, DLP, and encryption solutions.
• Automate routine security tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce human error.

Training and Awareness

• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Advocate for a security-first culture within the organization.
