The Role: Platform Engineering Lead
The Team: The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support and protect the applications that operate our network. The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications, leveraging contemporary microservices, cloud-based architectures
The Impact: Together , we build, support, protect and manage high-performance, resilient platforms that process more than 100 million messages a day. Our services are vital to automated trade processing around the globe, managing peak volumes and working with our customers and regulators to ensure the efficient settlement of trades and effective operation of global capital markets

You will have 12-15 years experience of Platform Engineering to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of Financial Services clients . This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance platform infrastructure.
- Define and enforce platform standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Implement Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to drive efficient project delivery.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Automate deployment processes to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build and deploy scalable solutions.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency.
- Security and Compliance
- Ensure platform security by implementing robust security measures and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor platform performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Implement performance optimization techniques to improve response times and scalability.
Whate Were looking For:
- 15+ years of experience in platform engineering, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in Agile project delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of data engineering and data pipelines.
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM).
