Security Analyst- Gurgaon

Experience: 3-5 yrs

Role Expectations:

Seeking an experienced Application Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and enhance our application security initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure coding practices, conducting risk assessments, managing vulnerabilities, and providing guidance on best security practices to our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise teams on secure software development practices and architecture.

- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk evaluations.

- Promote application security enhancements and ensure adherence to security standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10).

- Lead incident response and coordinate the remediation of security vulnerabilities.

- Provide training and foster security awareness across the organization.

- Collaborate with different teams to integrate security throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Stay updated on emerging security trends and tools.

Required Skills:

- Expertise in application security, risk management, and threat modelling.

- Proficiency with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, penetration testing).

- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities.

- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, OWASP).

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in application security or similar roles
