Job Title: Material Controller

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Material Controller at Seahawk Synergy Pvt. Ltd. to

manage material flows, procurement, storage, and issuance for a civil infrastructure project.

The role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting material reconciliation, and

ensuring cost control. The ideal candidate will have expertise in material management and

inventory control for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Receipt & Storage:

• Efficiently manage the receipt of raw materials according to purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of over 2000 registered store items

within the material store.

• Verify received materials against purchase orders and perform quality checks

to ensure accuracy.

• Stock Issuance & Control:

• Record and manage the issuance of materials accurately and in a timely

manner.

• Ensure proper documentation for material issues and maintain daily material

receipt logs, stock issue records, and minimum stock lists.

• Monitor stock levels and make key decisions regarding stock control, ensuring

adequate inventory without overstocking.

• Inventory Management & Reporting:

• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile physical stock with SAP stock data.
• Prepare and maintain weekly stock comparison reports (SAP stock vs physical

stock).

• Maintain up-to-date stock control systems within SAP B1 and SAP MM

modules, ensuring accurate data at all times.

• Space Optimization & Store Efficiency:

• Maximize space usage within the material store, ensuring the efficient layout

and storage of materials.

• Plan and manage future capacity requirements to accommodate stock

movement and procurement needs.

• Inventory Transfers & Branch Invoices:

• Oversee inventory transfers to sub-stores and warehouses, ensuring the

accuracy and timely movement of materials.

• Create branch invoices for inventory transfers to other branches and generate

E-way bills for branch invoices and purchase returns as needed.

• Procurement Support:

• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure smooth material procurement

processes.

• Assist in maintaining the flow of materials from procurement to storage and

issuance.

• Process Improvement:

• Continuously assess and improve stock control processes to increase

efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and ERP system usage (SAP B1,

SAP MM).

• Record Keeping & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, and transferred.
• Ensure proper documentation for stock movements, including purchase

returns, invoices, and E-way bills.

• Experience:

• Proven experience in material store management, inventory control, or

warehouse operations.

• Hands-on experience with SAP B1 (ERP) and SAP MM (SAP R3).

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP B1 ERP system for stock management and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of stock control techniques, including minimum stock

levels and stock reconciliation.
