Job Description
Gather and analyze data on coverage sector and corporates; analyze emerging trends/themes in the industry and draft research reports and aid content creation for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) research.
Data collection and research tasks such as review of websites, annual reports, sustainability reporting frameworks & working on sustainability reporting.
Answer queries from and interact with clients across business units
Analyze the ESG Reports, CSR Report, Proxy statement and website of a company to fetch relevant information for benchmarking purpose.
Understand and analyze company Policies, Processes and Commitments towards the ESG targets/goals
Create ESG related SOPs, Operational frameworks, and process guidelines
Emissions tracking and work on de-carbonization strategy development and work with ESG advisors to develop & implement best practices.
Developing focus areas for ESG in HR, Administrative, Customer, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Good Understanding of sustainable products/services across sectors (e.g., Banking, insurance, manufacturing companies)
Knowledge of industry specific environmental/ social initiatives and technical terms (e.g., green hydrogen, hydrogen fuel cells, bio products, renewable energy, sustainable supply chain)
Conversant with ESG/Sustainability related reporting frameworks like GRI, IPCC, SASB, TCFD, BRR, BRSR etc.
Work with company data to carryout carbon accounting & provide insights.
Conversant with ESG related standards GHG protocol etc.
