Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Lighting and Rendering Artist to join our dynamic 3D team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning lighting setups and ensuring the smooth rendering process of all scenes. This individual will be responsible for achieving accurate color correction, preparing final scenes, and optimizing assets, shaders, and textures to produce high-quality, polished visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lighting Design & Setup: Design and implement lighting setups across all scenes to enhance the visual quality, mood, and atmosphere of the project.
• Color Correction: Perform color corrections to ensure consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of the scenes, maintaining the desired visual style.
• Scene Finalization: Prepare and finalize scenes by optimizing assets, shaders, and textures to ensure efficient rendering without sacrificing visual quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, animators, and compositors to ensure seamless integration of lighting into the final output and maintain continuity throughout the project.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve lighting and rendering issues quickly to maintain production timelines and quality.
• Workflow Management: Maintain an organized workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and all deliverables meet the highest industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Lighting and Rendering Artist in the animation, film, or gaming industry.
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Blender
• In-depth knowledge of lighting techniques and principles, including an understanding of physically-based rendering (PBR).
• Familiarity with render farms and managing distributed rendering for efficient output.
• Strong knowledge of shaders, textures, and asset optimization for rendering.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments such as animation, VFX, and compositing teams.
• A portfolio showcasing lighting and rendering work, including examples of visually compelling scenes and rendered outputs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with rendering engines like
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools to optimize the rendering pipeline (e.g., Python scripting).
• Knowledge of HDR lighting, environment lighting, and real-time rendering techniques is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail, color grading, and an ability to execute complex lighting setups with efficiency.
