3D Character Modeler/Texture Artist

3D Modeling: Create detailed, accurate, and optimized 3D models for environments, characters, props, and vehicles. This may include hard-surface modeling, organic modeling, and architectural design.

• Texturing: Develop and apply textures to 3D models, ensuring that they match the desired style and maintain a high level of realism or stylization as per project requirements.
• UV Mapping: Unwrap 3D models and create UV maps that allow for efficient texture application. Ensure UVs are clean, consistent, and optimized for performance.
• Shading & Lighting: Set up shaders and lighting to enhance the visual quality of 3D models, ensuring they look realistic or stylized depending on the projects art direction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the art and design team to iterate on assets and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Optimization: Ensure 3D models are optimized for the intended platform, whether that be real-time applications (such as games and VR) or pre-rendered environments (such as animations and cinematic sequences).
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production pipeline, ensuring assets integrate smoothly with other team members' work.
• Asset Management: Keep track of your work, organizing files, textures, and other project assets according to established naming conventions and file structures.
