Job Description
Test Planning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
Identify test scenarios, create test cases, and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines.
Test Execution:
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on web applications developed in React.js, Python, Node.js, and PHP.
Verify and validate software functionalities against specifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Automated Testing:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks/tools for React.js, Python, Node.js, and PHP applications.
Implement and execute automated test suites to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Reporting and Tracking:
Document and report defects with detailed information, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the technical and functional aspects of the applications.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings to provide valuable insights and continuous improvement suggestions.
Performance Testing:
Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks, scalability issues, and optimize application performance.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
What we re looking for:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on web applications.
Proficiency in testing React.js, Python, Node.js, and PHP applications.
Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest, PyTest, PHPunit or similar).
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
