Principal Data Engineer

Designing and developing scalable and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.Building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes and ensuring that data is properly stored and organized.Designing and implementing data security and access controls and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.Developing and maintaining data integration and ETL processes and ensuring that data is properly transformed and cleansed.Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is properly used for analysis and reporting.Optimizing data processing and storage performance and ensuring that data infrastructure is cost-effective.Implementing and maintaining data quality and data governance processes and ensuring that data is accurate and consistent.Leading and mentoring a team of data engineers and ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.Providing technical guidance and support to other teams in the organization on data-related issues.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
