The mission in the GEC is to drive the strategic transformation of the engineering function within the Digital Buildings systems & project business to increase our competitiveness & improve our margins through establishing a collaborative working relationship between the Country and our Global Engineering Centre for BMS in India.

What is the role

Individual Contributor role based in Bangalore (Preferred) and reporting to the Deputy General Manager Engineering.

An exciting and challenging role for BMS Graphics Engineer to join our team.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to

• Deliver high quality 3D graphics components, floor plans, graphics
• Ability to understand and interpret sequences of operation, plant schematics and system architecture to create graphics as per standards defined
• Work experience in global projects and/or in global engineering centers will be considered as an advantage
• Minimum 5-12 years of experience as a BMS Graphics Engineer
• Experience in generation of Floorplan graphics, Equipment graphics and Network layouts IN Visio /AUTOCAD/other Applications
• Exposure to HVAC domain systems and applications like Air Handling Units, Chiller/Boiler Systems, Variable Air Volume Boxes etc. and ability to engineer a turnkey solution around them
• Ability to communicate with global customers, understand requirements and translate them to deliverables
• Working knowledge and understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, ability to read SLD etc.
• Ability to ensure quality, defect free deliverables, on time deliveries with customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with standard progress reporting tools and processes will be an added advantage
• Collaborate with design and software team for effective and timely delivery of graphics

We do believe that instrumental to your success in this role will be the following skills

• Proficient in 3D max, Photoshop, 3D Animator, Adobe Illustrator
• A certification on above
• Working knowledge on Java scripts
• Good knowledge on RIVET/ ACAD & BIM
• 3D vector graphics
• MEP Services knowledge/ BMS
• Knowledge on how to read plant schematics & SLDs, MEP services
• Ability to visualize electro- mechanical components
• Proven experience in BMS Graphics development with know-how of software programming in field of healthcare, life sciences and data center
• Prior experience of working for global projects on high complex graphics will be an added advantage .
• Java Scripting knowledge will be preferred.
• Ability to work in remote (offshore) teams situated across time zones
• Knowledge of engineering/ design and control
• Understanding of Revit files
• Ability to visualize electo- mechanical components
• Knowledge of engineering/ design of control for Building Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
• MEP Services knowledge/ BMS
• Knowledge of understanding plant schematics
• Knowledge of floor plan layouts
• Must have good communication skills
