1. Basic Requirements

• Educational Qualification: BE / GTTC / NTTF / DME
• Branch : Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical
• Age : 27 to 35 Years
• Experience: More than 6 years in Design & Development
• Industry Type : Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Organization

Work Experience in Design & Development Environment

• Location: : Factory at Ranjangaon MIDC, Pune
• Reporting to : HOD R&D

2. Purpose of the Job

• Design & development of components, Sub-assemblies & electro-mechanical products
• Significantly influences the design of interfaces between products and ensure interchangeability.
• Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical problems in assembly, testing etc.
• Adaptive Design of company products & manufacturing

3. Major Activities / Principal Accountabilities

• Interface with vendor development, internal and external customers during development of products
• Interaction for Tooling & Fixtures & test equipment development at Sub-vendor location
• Good Concept Presentation skills
• Co-ordinate with Test Labs & Certification bodies for Technical queries during product testing
• Facilitate to attain the cost of designs at earlier stage of concept or final design

4. Core Skills

• Sound Knowledge on Material Selection of metals and non-metals Plastics, Casting Materials, Machining, Fabrication process, sheet metal and post processing operations.
• Proficient in different manufacturing methodology.
• Proficient in using ISO & IEC Std. Knowledge on DIN Std. will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on FMEA will be added advantage.
• Competency in 3D Software like Pro-E/Creo / Solidworks / Autocad is preferable.

6. Knowledge

• Should have good technical knowledge for development of Electro- Mechanical products.
• Should have sound knowledge in components & Assembly developments involving Plastics, Casting, Press & machining process
• Experience in interacting with Tool manufacturer for development of tools from Design perspective
• Knowledge & experience in Rapid Proto-typing processes
• Preparation of ISO documentations with respect to Design & Development
• Proven proficiencies in or with the following: Any 3D CAD software (preferably Pro-Engineer / Creo), Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Design Documentation and mechanical analysis
