Why do we need you?

SCALE GmbH is in the process of expanding its software development team and has established its subsidiary SCALE India to tap into India's rich software developer community and benefit from the availability of a highly qualified workforce. To support this motive, in 2022 SCALE GmbH has laid foundations of a software development office in the culturally and economically rich city of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The rapidly growing IT/ITeS and software development ecosystem of Jaipur and its close vicinity to the Delhi-NCR Region would be a key contributing factor in SCALE India's success in developing high quality, cutting-edge and scalable software solutions for its customers in India and Abroad. SCALE India's software development or tech team would function as an extension of the software development team at various locations in Germany, assisting in the development of the SCALE.sdm product portfolio and thus contributing to the success of brand SCALE.

For this purpose, we are currently seeking eligible candidates for our core tech team to take on the challenging task of software development activities at SCALE India. Being one of the core members of SCALE India's tech team, we need a well-experienced and seasoned candidate who would help us in building and extending a rockstar software development team. As a software developer, you would take up the task of front-end development and help us design, develop and deliver reliable features for our SCALE.sdm product suite by collaborating with software developers at SCALE Germany.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement complex features into existing software architecture and optimize code for improved efficiency and usability
• Follow software development processes based on agile methodologies
• Use your critical thinking skills to convert customer requirements into workable and reusable code, participate in code reviews, contribute towards, and apply state-of-the-art approaches
• Seamlessly integrate into a multi-site, multicultural, and multinational software development team
• Assist in troubleshooting development and production-related technical issues

Requirements

Tech skills

• Overall 5+ years working knowledge in front-end web development
• Development expertise of at least 3 years with Angular
• Strong design and extensive implementation experience with Angular14 + in a highly scalable production environment
• Expert in developing complex single-page applications with Angular
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, TypeScript and CSS3, SCSS
• Experience in consuming and development of GraphQl APIs
• Experience with Frontend testing methodologies, preferably Jest using TDD
• Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns
• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git
• Experience with tools like Redux, Docker, CI/CD pipeline, Gitlab is an added advantage
• Should possess basic Unix/Linux knowledge to be able to write basic shell scripts and basic Unix commands

• Passionate about technology, keen to stay up to date with the latest web development trends and applying the latest technologies to product development
• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
• Outstanding team player and a dynamic individual who is fun to work with
• Experience with Scrum Projects and Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and been exposed to it.
