Job Description
Duties and responsibilities a HVAC service engineer is responsible for finding faults on HVAC systems. They will then carry out repairs and maintenance on these systems. Their typical duties and responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues in ventilation, air conditioning, and HVAC systems. Installation & Monitoring: Install and monitor HVAC systems.
Service & Testing: Travel to service and test HVAC units.
Repairs & Maintenance: Identify faults and perform repairs.
Customer Support: Advise on proper HVAC system care.
Electromechanical Troubleshooting: Fault-finding in A/C & W/C chillers (Reciprocating, Scroll, Screw compressors).
Cold Room Systems: Troubleshoot positive and negative temperature cold rooms and Freezer on Wheel (FOW) systems.
HVAC Fault Finding: Diagnose issues in AHUs, ductable split units, DX, and CW central AC systems.
Stock Management: Maintain spares inventory for urgent replacements.
