Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vulnerability Management Subject Matter Expert to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across the organization's IT infrastructure while playing a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and enhancing a comprehensive vulnerability management program.

This role is crucial in safeguarding the organization against evolving security threats and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the organization's vulnerability management framework, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to maintain a robust security posture.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead the vulnerability management lifecycle, including the identification, classification, remediation, and reporting of vulnerabilities across the organizations network, systems, and applications.

- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive vulnerability management program to ensure continuous monitoring, detection, and mitigation of vulnerabilities.

- Work with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and custom scripts to conduct vulnerability scans, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Development, Infrastructure, etc.) to prioritize and remediate critical vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards.

- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance in analyzing security vulnerabilities, assessing risk, and determining potential impact to the organization.

- Develop and refine security policies, procedures, and standards for vulnerability management.

Qualifications and Skills Required :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Vulnerability Management Specialist or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).

- Hands on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in creating risk-based vulnerability prioritization methodologies.

- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and services.

- Understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud services, operating systems, databases, and networks.

- Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms and a strong understanding of security automation and

orchestration.

- Understanding of vulnerability management and threat management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP).

- Experience in scripting or programming to automate security tasks.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (written and spoken).
