Export-Import & Shipping Manager

We are urgently looking for an Export-Import & Shipping Manager (a Resident of Faridabad will be preferred) for our eCommerce company located in Sector 68, IMT Faridabad.

Role & responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all shipping operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to streamline shipping processes.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, customs, and trade laws.
• Monitor shipping costs and optimize expenses.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and compliance documentation.
• Implement and manage tracking systems for real-time shipment monitoring.
• Resolve shipping delays, disputes, and claims with carriers.
• Work closely with the warehouse, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
• Handling all the Export & Import documentation & Shipments
• Prepare All Export Pre and Post Shipment documents- and other Buyers' required certificates.
• Coordination with the bank for various transactions related to Export-Import.
• Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and Customs House agencies regarding customs clearance, booking of the shipments, transporters & third-party logistics providers, etc.
• Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports
• Submission of final dispatch advice to the warehouse team
• Handling Domestic & International Shipping process
• Liaising with Govt. agencies for Export schemes and Import relaxations i.e. Government Incentive Scheme (MEIS DBK and other Export-Import incentives etc.)
• Coordination with the production and dispatch of daily shipments - domestic & international

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
• A diploma/ Degree in Export-Import Documentation would be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, adaptability to new ideas, and logical thinking.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to easily comprehend and organize shipment processes.
• Plan and implement overall shipping strategy and process.
• Candidates from Delhi-NCR will be preferred.
• Comfortable with Late sitting in the office
