Senior Service Engineer

Principal Accountabilities

• Customer Service
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
• Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location.
• Provide on-site training to the customers
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate.
• Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain minimum levels of spares in the service location for immediate customer support.
• Upselling and revenue generation:
• Identify the customer requirement and share with reporting officer.
• Follow up on the enquires till these get closure and update to reporting officer.
• Identify on new Service business and share officer.
• Coordination and act on Customer feedback
• Collect the voice of customer/satisfaction during the service and attend the complaint if any.
• Quality and Safety
• Ensure that Service is always delivered as per defined Quality Parameters.
• Ensure that all Safety Regulations are followed during service-related work
• Team Management
• Coordinates with and manages the service technicians for service efficiency.

Knowledge & Skills needed to deliver on the accountabilities:

• Product knowledge
• Process Knowledge
• Good In communication.
• Good in customer relationship management.

Formal Education Requirements, as applicable:

Diploma/BE-Mechanical /Automobile

Years of relevant Experience needed: 3 to 5 years
