Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Application Support Engineers to join our team and work under the guidance of the Application Support Lead

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in application support, database management, and troubleshooting

You will be responsible for monitoring application performance, resolving issues, and assisting with database queries and documentation.

Key Responsibilities



Application Monitoring:Monitor application performance and respond to alerts, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.

Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve application issues, working closely with the Application Support Lead and other team members to ensure timely resolution.

Database Management:Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries for MS SQL and PostgreSQL, focusing on performance and indexing.

Documentation:Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation, including troubleshooting guides and RCA documents.

Collaboration:Work with the Application Support Lead and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

User Support:Provide technical support to users, addressing their inquiries and assisting them with application-related issues.

Deployment Support:Assist in application deployments using Docker, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-3 years of experience in application support, database management, or a related field.

Proficiency in MS SQL and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

Familiarity with Docker for application deployment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
