Job Description
SARJAK Container Lines is looking for Sr. Executive Accounts to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive in Accounts to join our finance team
- The Senior Executive will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex financial tasks
- Responsibilities:Financial Transactions:Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Financial Reporting:Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Present financial reports to management and provide explanations for variances
- Audit and Compliance:Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Taxation:Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial and accounting procedures
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, including finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure accurate financial information flow
- Provide training and support to junior team members
