Site Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that construction activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality controls, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth communication and coordination of activities.
• Assist in the development of project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and resolving any issues that arise.
• Monitor work to ensure it meets the projects quality standards, specifications, and local regulations.
• Manage and supervise the site workforce, ensuring that the team is performing to expected standards.
• Track and verify material deliveries, ensuring they match project requirements and are delivered on time.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, daily logs, and any issues that occur on-site. Prepare and submit regular progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and take proactive steps to mitigate risks on-site.
• Identify potential issues or risks, implement corrective actions, and report any delays or obstacles to the project management team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Site Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures on construction sites.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of workers.
