The person also needs to be well versed with the US GAAP and Indian GAAP and have some experience working for IT services organizations.
- CA is a must
- Should be excellent in AP and AR
- Should have worked on budgets/Project Finance
1. Maintenance of Books of Accounts
a) Preparation of Vouchers
b) Enter Vouchers in Tally accounting package
c) Preparation of Bank reconciliation statement
d) Review of books of accounts on monthly basis and providing Trial balance.
2. Financial Accounts
a) Monthly MIS reporting to head office.
b) Preparation and finalization of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss A/C for the each year ending on March. :
c) Printing of books of accounts at the year end.
3. ROC Compliance
a) Preparation of Internal Financial Controls matrix
b) Preparation of minutes books.
c) Preparation of Fixed Assets Register.
d) Filing of necessary resolution with ROC from time to time
e) Compliance of other statutory requirements of Companies Act, 2013 as applicable to the PO.
f) Annual global accounts filing.
g) Updating change of Authorized signatory, place of establishment.
4. TDS
a) Verification of all payments to vendors for the purposes of determination of correct application of rates and category for deduction of withholding taxes.
b) Deposition of TDS and generating challan based on advance funding for such payment.
Computation of monthly TDS on the basis of above.
c) Monthly tax reconciliation of the TDS due and Deducted.
d) Preparation and deposit of Monthly challans on or before the statutory due dates.
e) Filing of quarterly E-TDS Returns.
f) Issuing TDS certificates following compliances of TRACES
5. Income Tax
a) Advising on Income Tax Planning of Corporate.
b) Calculation of Advance tax with payment mandate
c) Advising & reviewing of all necessary tax withholding responsibilities.
d) Advising all financial subjects which are of your interest and keeping you updated on the new amendments, circulars, notifications & judgments.
e) Filing annual Income Tax return of the company.
6. Payroll
a) Preparation of the monthly payroll based on the inputs received from organization. The same
b) would include all statutory and other relevant deductions as required.
c) Ensure deductions of all relevant amounts and as per applicable statutory laws like Income Tax,
d) provident Fund and Professional Tax etc.
e) Checking Form 16 for the Employees and also file Qtly. returns for e-TDS with Income tax authorities.
f) Deposit TDS & provide proof of deposit and ensure redressal of any issues.
g) Reconciliation of payments/statutory deductions etc. with books of accounts on quarterly basis.
7. RBI and FEMA Compliance
a) Filing OGP Intimation letter
b) Filing RBI annual of FLA
c) Issuing Annual Activity Certificates
d) Annual submission to various departments - Authorized Bank, Police, Income Tax, RBI
8. Annual Audit & Other Allied Compliances
a) Performing annual statutory audit under Income tax Act 1961 and Companies Act 2013 and
b) Furnishing an annual report for the same.
c) Complying with statutory requirements of Indian Companies Act 2013 as applicable to company.
d) Any Audit report required for consolidation purpose.
