Job Description
SAPL is looking for Software Testing to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
- A Software Testing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices
- They work closely with software development teams to identify defects, verify functionality, and validate the performance of software products
- The Software Testing Specialist follows established testing methodologies, executes test cases, and reports and tracks issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
- Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and design documents
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and stability of software applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with developers to facilitate their resolution
- Conduct various types of software testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing
- Perform system and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets the defined acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test tools to support testing activities
- Participate in the review and analysis of software requirements and design documents to provide input on testability and quality aspects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and deliverables
- Monitor and report on testing progress, including test coverage, test results, and defect metrics
- Continuously enhance and optimize testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance
