What youll do :

Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers in the development and deployment of scalable cloud solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage priorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and implement cloud-based solutions that align with business requirements.

Design and implement cloud architecture in line with best practices and organizational goals.

Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and policies for cloud infrastructure and services.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cloud team and ensure timely resolution of any technical issues or escalations.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and mentor team members for their professional growth.

Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure, security, and performance.

Oversee the integration of cloud systems with existing on-premises infrastructure.

Ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and identify opportunities to optimize costs.

Define and enforce security policies and controls to protect data and systems.

Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud-based services.

Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute cloud adaptation strategies.

What to Have for this position.

Must have Skills &

Good to have Skills:

Deep understanding of cloud and cloud native principles and practices

Proven experience leading and managing a team of cloud engineers.

5+ years of experience working on development and production infrastructure.

5+ years of experience with complex, high-performance distributed systems in production.

Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services.

Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Golang.

Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cloud engineers.

Experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud architectures.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, such as Azure Bicep /Terraform/ CloudFormation.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in the cloud

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Certifications in cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
