Sapear - SAP GTS Consultant (7-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We're seeking a seasoned SAP GTS Consultant/Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep understanding of SAP GTS to configure, customize, and manage our global trade processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless integration within our systems.

Responsibilities :

1. SAP GTS Configuration & Management :

- Configure and implement all core SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.

- Customize SAP GTS functionalities to align with specific business requirements and international trade regulations.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP GTS system, addressing system issues and implementing enhancements.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Automate the screening of business partners and transactions against sanctioned party lists.

2. Integration & Collaboration :

- Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (e.g. , SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems for a unified trade management experience.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (logistics, finance, IT) and external partners (customs authorities, trade compliance agencies) to achieve optimal trade process outcomes.

Technical Skills :

- Proven experience (7+ years) configuring, customizing, and managing SAP GTS modules.

- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.

- Strong understanding of SAP data structures and configuration methodologies.

- Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and automation techniques.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SAP GTS technical issues.

Bonus Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration is a plus.

- Familiarity with scripting languages used in SAP GTS (e.g. , ABAP).

- Experience in a specific industry (e.g. , manufacturing, logistics) is a benefit
