SAP Basis Administration - We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of SAP ECC systems within an AMS setup. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP landscapes, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of SAP ECC systems to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration :

1. Manage and monitor SAP ECC systems, including system health checks, user administration, and authorization management.

2. Perform regular SAP system maintenance tasks such as system refreshes, kernel upgrades, patch management, and transport management.

System Performance and Tuning :

1. Monitor system performance, analyze system logs, and perform performance tuning to optimize SAP ECC system performance.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ECC systems, databases, and underlying infrastructure.

System Support :

1. Provide day-to-day technical support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

2. Collaborate with the AMS team to handle service requests, change requests, and problem management.

3. Coordinate with vendors, hardware teams, and other IT departments to resolve complex technical issues.

Backup and Recovery :

1. Implement and manage SAP ECC backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and system availability.

2. Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery drills to ensure readiness for any unexpected outages.

System Upgrades and Migrations :

1. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.

2. Provide support during SAP projects including system installations, configuration, and go-live support.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for SAP ECC systems, processes, and procedures.

- Generate and analyze system performance reports, providing recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration within an AMS or support environment.

- Strong experience with SAP ECC systems.

- Experience in managing SAP landscapes in on-premise environments is a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- Deep understanding of SAP ECC architecture and components.

- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and databases (Oracle, MSSQL).

- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and management.

- Experience with backup and recovery tools and disaster recovery processes.

Soft Skills :

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certification in SAP Basis Administration.
