Role & responsibilities

Machine Setup:

Set up and configure production machinery, including but not limited to stamping and forming equipment, to meet production requirements.

Install, align, and adjust tooling components to achieve precise specifications.

Tool Changes:

Perform tool changes based on production schedules and engineering specifications.

Ensure that tool changes are executed efficiently to minimize downtime.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to verify that tools and machinery are producing products within established quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections and measurements to ensure accuracy and precision.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of tool setups and changes for future reference.

Document any issues or discrepancies during the setup process and report them to the appropriate personnel.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and troubleshoot issues related to tooling and machinery setups.

Work closely with maintenance teams to address and resolve any technical problems.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to optimize machine performance and efficiency.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless transitions between tool setups.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during machine setups.

Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety within the production environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Require candidate who has passed from NTTF or similar institution for fitter position is preferred.
• Candidate who has experience in tool loading and setting.
• Willing to learn this to take care of Production Departments requirements with respect to tooling.
