Job Purpose
The role of Lead - RM Godown is to efficiently oversee and manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw
materials to support production operations, ensuring seamless and cost-effective supply chain processes.

Job Requirements
Education & Relevant
Experience •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relevant field.

Roles & Responsibilities
•Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of personnel responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing raw materials.
•Ensure accurate recording and tracking of all incoming raw materials and maintain proper inventory records.
•Plan and execute the efficient layout and organization of the RM godown for easy access and retrieval.
•Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate the timely receipt of raw materials, inspecting them for
quality and quantity.
•Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, optimizing stock turnover.
•Implement and enforce safety and security protocols for raw material storage.
•Coordinate with production departments to fulfill raw material requirements as per production schedules.
•Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
•Identify and report damaged or obsolete raw materials and coordinate disposal or replacement.
•Implement technology and systems for efficient RM godown management, such as barcoding and digital records.
•Generate reports and insights on raw material inventory, consumption, and trends.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes and optimize cost-efficiency.
