Sandvine - Backend Developer - Python (3-8 yrs)

The Job :

- Being part of the team, building world-class analytics backend product that delivers high-performance, at scale Analytics and Insights to our customers.

- Ensure the team follows best practices in programming when building production grade solutions.

- Build the data architecture, optimized for loading and query performance.

- Work both independently and close together in a strong, agile team that develops the key components which makes up the heart of our Analytics product

- Be involved in all phases of the projects from analysis, design and development to maintenance and customer support.

- This position is located in Bangalore

What skills you bring In :

Qualifications :

- BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at 3-7 years of professional experience

- Strong experience in building products or solutions in Python (Backend Development using Python is MUST)

- DB experience (Mandatory) Vertica is preferred

- Are experienced in working in a Linux development environment

- Have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes

- Possess a solid understanding in Database technologies.

- Experience in Vertica Analytics Platform or similar Big Data databases is preferred

- Know and care about sound engineering practices like automated testing and continuous delivery

Desired :
