Business Analyst Track & Trace

Keeps abreast with internal Technology systems and documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security), regulatory environments / requirements (if applicable), Technology Service Portfolio and with industry best practices in leveraging technologies for the business and taking advantage of reusable products, solutions and services wherever applicable.

Identifies and analyzes complex business requirements and processes, to further develop and implement a technology/system/product, to support ongoing operations, or execution of business processes. Analyzes complex system and project performance data and provides ad-hoc and periodic reporting to the relevant stakeholders. Conduct assessments of processes and data to detail requirements. Interview business partners, organize and run requirements sessions with groups of users.

Analyze and model relevant business processes, rules and data relationships. Document as is best practice processes.

Assist local project teams, designing a to be process and drive implementation of best practices. Demonstrate the impact of procedures and their effect on the organization. Critically review and recommend changes to processes in part or in their entirety.

Lead authoring of the engineering and automation user requirements document and drive continuous improvement of the application.

Define, drive and support collaboration with platform teams to maximize customer value by utilizing standard platform capabilities.

Ensures consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing validation. Support validation and testing as appropriate and ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Product Delivery scope. Provide strong contribution to the manufacturing business lead as they prepare and implement (or upgrade) respective Engineering systems and introduce or drive change. Define and execute installation qualifications. Contribute to outlining performance qualification testing and drive a global validation concept.

Guide the business on creating key messages to be used in change management plans and training material content.

Collaborate to define deployment and business value metrics that can be used to indicate successful roll out and use of new technology.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging best practices for shop floor and engineering systems. Supports the Associate Director Engineering Solutions as well as the engineering lead in defining the Engineering System portfolio, strategy, roadmap and footprint based on gathered requirements and performance data.
