Position: Medical Advisor

Desired qualification: MBBS or MD Pharmacology   

Desired experience: Experience of working in a pharmaceutical company or a clinical research organization in the medical affairs or clinical trial department

4. Medical writing (Protocol designing and manuscript writing)

Medical writing is an additional skill set we expect from candidates, alongside the required qualifications and experience. With the implementation of UCPMP guidelines, in addition to the core responsibilities of a medical advisor, we are now involved in conducting clinical trials, abstract submissions, and publications. These activities are primarily outsourced, resulting in an expenditure of approximately Rs 10 lakhs last year. With new projects coming in this year, we anticipate these costs will rise to Rs 35 lakhs. Having an in-house medical writer could potentially help reduce some of these expenses.
