Job Description: Automation Engineer

Mission: To lead and execute engineering and commissioning tasks, ensuring the effective implementation and integration of advanced automation systems. This role requires a deep understanding of PLC programming, instrumentation, and HMI/SCADA configurations to support operations and maintenance in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs for automation systems.
• Develop and configure HMI/SCADA systems, ensuring seamless operation and user-friendly interfaces.

• Lead commissioning activities, including system validation, testing, and startup.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and maintenance processes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Siemens Simatic S7 TIA Portal and Siemens WinCC TIA Portal.
• Proficient in Rockwell Studio 5000 and Rockwell RSView ME / SE.
• Medium knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience Requirements:

• Basic knowledge in the automation metal industry, particularly with process lines.
• Medium knowledge in IT systems integration and automation.
• Hands-on experience in erection and commissioning of automation systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Work Environment: This role involves a mix of on-site and office-based work, requiring flexibility to travel and adapt to dynamic project demands.
