Job Role :
- The Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding would be responsible for onboarding new customers and managing the inbound/outbound air/sea cargo business based out of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad Bangalore, Hyderabad or Chennai. This role would require prior experience with Airfreight/Sea freight Trade business and will be responsible for new client onboarding, relationship management, business review, and managing account receivables
- Reporting to the Country Head of India, the Sales Manager - FF would be responsible for managing business deliverables. The candidate should have a minimum 3 years of overall experience in Freight Forwarding Logistics, should know customer and have a passion for business development.
- Would be responsible for developing sector-centric freight forwarding solutions
- Identification of potential trade lanes, subsequently, onboarding new customers to MGH. Knowledge on the local customers is a must
- Conducting regular cold calls/customer visits for attracting more customers and strengthening our clientele
- Developing, supporting and monitoring the performance of the sales force within a defined field of responsibility.. Managing, developing and overseeing global agent's relationships for defined markets strengthening the trade lane.. Achieving and improving PAN India sales targets and building relations with the customers
- Identify new opportunities from the market for value additions offered by the product. Active role in understanding customers' logistics plans, gaining customer and sales alignment, and implementing the plans along with cross-functional teams to deliver team results
- Manage negotiation terms, implementation, and compliance as necessary, improve and align intercompany processes
- Identify/implement actions towards the achievement of cost, speed, and sustainability targets. Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, exceeding customer service expectations. Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
