Job Description: Marketing & Sales Executive (Software Development & Support Industry)

Location: New Delhi Experience Level: 3 6 Years

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing & Sales Executive to join our team in the software development and support industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and promoting our range of software solutions and services. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, marketing skills, and sales expertise to achieve business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the software development and support sector.
  • Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and close sales deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies tailored to the target audience.
  • Identify key market segments and devise specific campaigns to penetrate these markets.
  • Promotion & Branding:
  • Promote company offerings, including custom software development, IT support, and consulting services.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, webinars, and networking events.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of company products and services.
  • Proposal Development & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics to management regularly.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the development and support teams to understand product features and communicate client requirements effectively.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and coordinate post-sale support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in B2B marketing and sales, preferably in software development, IT services, or related industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of software development processes and IT support services.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and analytics platforms.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
