Job description (About the Role)
- The individual would be responsible for Pan India Controller responsibility for the FMCG business and would be responsible to drive business partnership, planning & reporting and maintain integrated financial systems that provides accurate information to company leaders and investors in a timely manner.
- The role would partner business in growth projections, financial simulations, cost leadership and defining road to profitable growth.
What you will bring:
- Strong business partnership skills, commercial awareness, business acumen
- Sound P&L understanding & knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
- Experience developing financial planning, reports and metrics.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
- Responsible for developing SOP's and efficient processes around business model working closely with compliance function.
Key Deliverables (What Will You Do):
- Financial planning & budgeting - Annual budget, forecasting process, variance analysis, support in business strategy etc.
- Commercial finance management - Collaborate with sales team, analyse customer / product profitability etc.
- Performance monitoring - Develop and maintain key KPI, prepare weekly/ monthly financial reports, Monitor working capital, inventory levels, and cost management initiatives.
- Business partnering - Lead cross functional projects, Provide guidance on financial implications etc.
- System and process - Improve financial systems and process, implement best practice, leverage technologies to automate routine task.
Job Specification (What Will You Need):
- Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of professional experience
- Experience working with FMCG / Retail companies is preferred.
- The individual should have very good experience and understanding of financial planning, budgeting and reporting function.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- P&L ownership with business head and FP&A head
- Appropriate financial and operational measurement and analyses as required by the business leaders for sound business decisions and highlight in timely manner risks and opportunities.
