Accounts Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Indian accounting standards, possess hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books, and have a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and financial statements. Advanced Excel skills are required for data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Ensure timely compliance with GST and TDS filing, including preparation of returns and necessary documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions in Tally and Zoho Books.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants during internal and external audits.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Generate and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvements.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and tax-related compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, especially Tally and Zoho Books.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex reports and perform financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and their preparation.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in accounting or tax-related courses (e.g., CA, CMA, or similar).
• Experience in financial reporting and audit preparation.
• Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
